The Artist Jari Antila

The elements of Jari Antila´s art are wood and metal. He considers himself neither a painter nor a sculptor, but as a mixture of both. His artworks represent expressionism, the idea is to include feelings and memories of something experienced or seen.

He aims to get to the momentum of life he is living; sometimes hard as metal and sometimes sensitive as a flight of a bird. Anyhow, he always works quickly and in a ruff way, only the colours bring the final sensitivity to the work.
